The Champagne Presets Collection

I am Thrilled to introduce The Champagne Collection Presets FOR LIGHTROOM.

A tribute to the timeless spirit of Magnum’s masters.

The name “Champagne” was inspired by a legendary moment: Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Capa, sharing a long lunch, a large bottle of champagne between them, while dreaming aloud about the photography agency that would one day reshape visual storytelling.

I’ve spent years admiring the extraordinary photographers who helped define Magnum’s legacy and countless hours studying their tones, textures, and visual philosophies. The Champagne Presets grew from that admiration: a collection shaped by the hues, moods, and subtle aesthetics found in the work of some of these iconic image-makers.

These presets are not meant to replicate masterpieces, nor can they turn any of us into the artists we revere. But they can offer something meaningful: a taste of their atmosphere. A whisper of their tones. A hint of the colors and character that have inspired generations.

With The Champagne Presets, you’ll find a set of creative tools designed to bring a refined, documentary inspired sensibility to your own images influenced by the greats, interpreted through my own eye, and crafted with respect for the art form we all care about.

Some of These Presets use Lightroom latest tools and AI masks ( 2025/2026 )  to achieve the desired effects and need a little bit of computer power. 

Some of these Presets are gentle on the edits, some a bit heavier but I try very hard to never go into over editing styles and garnish results. 

I try as much as possible not to use the Tone section so you can fine tune starting from there.

The presets try to keep the overall Exposure the same without including the Exposure slider so you can easily see the "style" and I never include the White Balance in the Presets !
