A Little AbOut Me...

Thanks for stopping by! I’m Boris Horel a photographer (among a few other things) who’s been wandering the streets with a camera for about 10 years now. I first studied photography at the Beaux-Arts in France, and ever since then I’ve been completely in love with the medium.

I approach street photography with a flexible, open mindset. I’m not limited to traditional “street shots” , instead I’m drawn to everyday moments, casual scenes, and small details that reveal something interesting when framed through the lens. I’m inspired by Gary Winogrand’s idea: "I photograph to see what the world looks like in photographs."

For me, that curiosity is at the heart of my work. I aim to turn the familiar into something visually engaging, capturing the beauty hidden in the rhythms of daily life.

On this site, you’ll find some of my work, a selection of Lightroom presets based on my own editing style, some Prints and the option to join me on photo walks if you’d like to learn or level up your street photography skills.

Feel free to contact me for any enquiries or to say Hi !
